Donkey Kong Jr. Arcade Restore

I have always wanted a Donkey Kong Arcade Cabinet for my collection. I came across this one for sale on Craigslist back in September 2013. In good conduction over all. Needed some work and a good cleaning inside and out to help it become a working arcade again. The monitor had no sound, but the picture was there. Joystick was shot ... could only move to the left and up. So that needed to be replaced. But I knew going into this project there was going to be work needed.

In the basement cleaned up and ready to be worked on.
The guy that had owned this before me must have had a DART BOARD near the DK Jr. Cabinet. As you can see in the photo above the many holes in the side left panel from the DARTS.
Sanding the surface down and getting ready to BONDO the holes and chipped areas.
After filling the hole and chipped areas with BONDO I sanded it down to a smooth working surface.
Took off the coin door and wood area from the cabinet in order to prep with Bondo.
Same with the Control area. Filled in the chips with Bondo.
First coat of White primer.
Second coat of White Primer on each.

The finished product at this point.

Still waiting on a few parts to come in. New Bezel, coin mechs, and Cap kit for the monitor.

Overall it's much better looking than what it started out as.
