Boats
Boats have always taken my attention. Be it the strong colors widening their reflections over the soft tones of the waters or the almost raw wood with the traces of a long-gone paint.
Either those with flat botton shapes that sit on the water like platforms give na illusory feeling of stability or the narrow pirogues that challenge the balance of the most experienced fishermen.
Whether it's the relative complexity of the artisanal joinery of those built in small shipyards or the large tree unique trunks excavated according to a technique that for centuries has been passed through generations in coastal and riverside communities in South America and Africa.
It's hard to say what attracts my eyes so much, but they are always worth the shot.
Thank you.
