The Girl Who Fed on Nightmares

An easy read childrens book for my premasters project about the importance of having bad experiences in life in order to grow and prosper. The story is that a girl has nightmares every night because of her bad memories that she is not able to sleep. She goes to a witch and asks her to erase all her bad memories. The witch agrees but at the condition that she takes her soul. Time goes by, and the girl grows extremely unhappy. When she meets the witch again, she explains her discontent, to which the witch explains that her bad memories were just as important as good memories. They are vital for the evolution of her being, without them she will be stunted and remain a child in an aging body.
