FRUITSHOP AT THE END OF THE WORLD

"FRUIT SHOP AT THE END OF THE WORLD", is one of the collection of an Indian streetwear brand Almost Gods. I got to work with them, and I was able to bring up the ideas into reality.

The collection “Fruit Shop at the End of the World” leverages the role of fashion as an extension of art in the larger cultural developments that have taken place the past year and calls out on the absurdity of the moment.
The “Fruit Shop at the End of the World” is an exploration of a singular moment described in the accompanying eponymous story, that sees our protagonist come face to face with overwhelming nothingness and disassociating overstimulation. The idea represents the convergence of new technologies, new money and new media that has left us in a state of emotional paralysis.
Fruit shop at the end of the world is the quantum radicalization of an institution that is so universally familiar that it brings forth the same feeling of despair, respite and hope that we have collectively faced the past year.
