INTRODUCTION
So, for this game jam, I decided that I'd try to challenge myself by doing it entirely solo. This was a perfect opportunity for me to try this, as I'm not an artist, but the limitation of only 8x8 textures allowed me to create some alright art assets in a decent amount of time. I did some rough brainstorming of a bunch of different concepts in my head, and eventually decided on the idea of "If you can't see them, they can't see you."​​​​​​​
PROGRAMMING
From a programming side of things, I tried to keep things as simple as possible due to the tight time constraint of the game jam, but I also wanted to be able to learn things from participating in this game jam, so I went with a 4 directional grid based movement system for this game. The enemy works by following a set path of waypoint nodes along the grid whenever the player takes a move; this led to a bug where the player could move into the same spot that an enemy was. Instead of fixing this bug, I thought of a few ways that I could include it into the game's level design, so I decided to keep it in.
