Solitude.
Noun. The state of being alone, especially when you find this pleasant.
This past year, it has felt like I've been living in solitary confinement.
For the briefest of moments, it transforms into solitude and then back again.
I know I am not unique in these sensations. We are all united in this shared experience of late.
As the restrictions partially begin to lift across the UK, for a brief moment, I was lucky to break free from these four walls and visit the coast and finally lay my eyes on some open skies.
Whilst capturing panoramas of this beautiful expanse with the camera that is closest to hand, I find others in their moments of solace by this breathtaking landscape.
