Almanaque do Samba | activity book

The “Almanaque do Samba” is an activity book, idealized and executed with the objective of bringing children closer to the socio-cultural values of Afro-Brazilian history through the
tematics of samba.

Its development was inspired by visits to the Samba Museum in Rio de Janeiro, especially through conversations with its employees about the activities and missions of the institution.

The book has 24 pages in the format of 20cmX26cm each, laser printed, on sheets of 180g Marrakech paper, A3, in booklet format.

The almanac was designed to engage the public from 7 to 10 years old in activities that refer to Afro-Brazilian history, and is divided into the categories of “Interaction in the almanac itself”, “Cut and assemble” and “Do it yourself”, seeking dynamism in children’s interactions and the possibilities of creation.
