This project was created for my Final Mayor Project at the University of Creative of Arts where I created my own brief based on my own interests in the mixtures of fashion and graphics.

Fashion is a tightly interwoven spectrum of print and networked media practices that constructs collective meaning through marketing and illustration of individual designers’ collections and motives. Contemporary fashion design has moved away from the glitz and glamour and towards commentary on societal, social and gender issues to push fashion as a whole towards a more inclusive, accepting environments for all.

This book is an informative collection of Avant-Garde designers discussing the techniques and ideologies that have formed around Anti-Fashion. Outlining the designers that have changed the fashion system largely through unconventional and outlandish contemporary fashion design and provides illustrative interpretation to provide a post-modern take on the clothing in question.
