This was my final thesis project which was a design research report. It involved researching an industry and determining how a product could improve the chosen industry. For my thesis I chose hiking and camping as my focus which led me to do research into these two activities, the existing product market and the needs and preferences of hikers. All this research led to a product that increases the ease of accessibility and use of existing hiking equipment.

 

The Klik hiking clip is a simple, compact, and lightweight hiking accessory that has a multitude of uses while hiking and camping. It features a lockable clip and carabiner base - the combination of these allow for the product to be attached to a variety of hiking equipment in many different ways making the product very useful in any hiking situation.
