Aviation and airplanes have fascinated me since childhood. As a child, it was a deep foreboding respect to the furious spooling of the airplane's engines on the ground.
As an adult, it is a deep admiration for a vibrant industry that functions around the clock - and does things with such precision that statistically, only an elevator ride is safer. Non-stop. Endless. 24x7. The skies are dominated.
