Inaari- Branding through Folktales

Project Brief- Creating branding strategies for the company "Inaari" through folktales
Course- Liberal Arts Elective (Folklores)

Individually, my role was to research on how a woman's energy levels and sleep schedules are affected during menstruation. ​​​​​​​
Once we had a meeting with the founder of Inaari and understood the direction that the company was looking at as a whole, we began ideating. During ideation, we had to keep in mind that regardless of what we finalize, we need to ensure that we are able to bring out folktales through the same. 

We then settled on creating a menstrual journal. While researching on various types of journals, we realised that menstrual journals are very text-heavy, and are not self explanatory. Hence, we arrived at the problem statement, "Menstrual Journals are text-heavy, not interactive and not user friendly".​​

Therefore, while ideating on our journal, we ensured that we make our journal not-so-text-heavy, interactive, as well as user friendly. The following are the segments we included in our journal-
1. Crosswords, puzzles, quizzes- in order to break the ice 
2. "Did you know" facts
3. QR codes to scan alongside the facts, if the reader wants to know more about that topic
4. Revamped folktales
