Pins are a tradition of acknowledgement at Oracle Design. They are cultural, symbolic artifacts that represent creativity, recognition and enthusiasm shared by our org.

Each pin has a purpose and meaning. They are an earned achievement that is both individually and collectively shared.

"To achieve excellence and a true experience — one that is engaging, memorable, sophisticated and human— we must design with intention in mind. Design is all about solving problems, and for that, we must understand the why of every function, activity and sensation. It means we need to dive deep into the problem and purpose, find a balance between the users and business needs, focus intentionally on quality, and understanding that perfection is unattainable, but that striving for better is always worth the effort. Everything for a reason

Initial Sketches
The Claddagh ring has centuries of history in Ireland, but today it symbolizes three things: friendship, loyalty, and love. Those symbols can mean anything to the wearer. Perhaps you wear a ring to symbolize the bond of friendship you share with someone. Maybe it is a symbol of your loyalty to your partner. It could also be a signal that you are in love. The beautiful thing about jewellery is that you get to decide what the piece means to you.
Heart: The heart is the central feature of the ring. As you might suspect, the heart represents love.
Crown: The crown is a traditional symbol of royalty. In this case, the crown is a symbol of loyalty.
Hands: The hands that come together to hold the heart and the crown above represent friendship.
