CHALLENGE
Takkie Wash, a shoe cleaning service, has built a new brand Squeaky Kleen, a clothes washing service. This has now confused its customers that assume the Takkie Wash brand uses washing machines to clean its shoes.


SOLUTION
The two brands needed to establish a single brand but which retained their separate identities. The group I was involved in came up with the idea of “we’ll handle it” being the two brands common message to communicate that Takkie Wash does not use machines. From this, we had to create two key visuals for each brand identity to show how they can be easily differentiated but still establish a singular umbrella brand.

Overall the two brands are differentiated by their colour and imagery but linked by their statement of “we’ll handle it”.
