As a jewelry designer, sculptor and metal fabricator, 3D modeling in Rhino was a new challenge. The familiarity of using my hands to mold materials into wearable mini sculptures helped me to visualize what the forms would look like as I navigated Rhino. Designing 3D objects in a 2D space is like trying to draw in mid-air... seems impossible until it finally starts taking shape. My jewelry knowledge is evolving exponentially... this creative process is not only my metamorphosis as a Jewelry Designer but in my life as well.
