Molly Ruddick's profile

BEFORE MARRAKECH, EVERYTHING WAS BLACK.

With post-Covid travel still an uncertain proposition, many travellers are opting to holiday in this country rather than abroad. Molly Ruddick has collaborated with Moroccan hotel El Fenn to design a collection of fabrics suitable for their interiors in their newest branch in London. This hotel, designed with 2021 staycations in mind, is for discerning, adventurous travellers who want to broaden their horizons on their holidays and experience different cultures and aesthetics.

A luxury, immersive experience, El Fenn London transports the guest to the heart of Marrakech and this collection, rich in texture and colours, reflects the beauty, atmosphere and vibrancy that is Marrakech, from the sun-baked textures of the medina, the vibrancy of the souks and the jewel like colours of the Jardin Majorelle. The contemporary textiles incorporate jacquard, hand woven and tufted designs, all made with sustainable yarns. This collection will evoke the essence of Morocco and create a warm welcome to guests visiting this hotel.
