Samsung created ‘LDA Light’ – Lidar Distancing Alert to ensure your safety, while also making it easy to go outside and not feel alienated
LDA Lights are installed at public space to detect over-crowded areas and signal them to keep safe distances. We utilized ‘Lidar Sensor, a leading technology in imaging detection and ranging, for instantaneous amounts of measurements, and can be accurate to a centimeter. When too many people are occupied in a space, LDA alarms them with visual stimulations and sound effects, then switches back to calming mode when people spread out to right distances.
