Film and mixed media is a huge inspiration for me artistically, and I feel that a movie equally represents every section of art - performances, music, writing, etc. While I didn’t have any ongoing projects, I decided to create a small series of movie poster re-designs, inspired by their counterpart in a specific aspect. These stand as renditions of an alternate poster, and my main intention of these posters was to visually represent the colours, and style of the film, but also the emotion and overall message.

This artwork was initially posted to various subreddits, where I received requests from other users to re-design their favourite posters. After receiving a surprising amount of requests for prints, I partnered with a small business that helped to print, sell and ship my posters internationally - they are available in a limited run at https://vintagecinemaposters.com/collections/posters . I’m extremely grateful to receive a profit for my artwork that I enjoyed making, but also humbled to have people enjoy my work enough to hang it up on their walls.
