A project for my design class. The assignment was to create a design that would be UV printed onto any object desired. I printed mine on two plastic slabs that could be screwed to one another. I printed the dragon on one slab and the clouds on the other, then layered them.
My Process
I created a sketch of the dragon within photoshop and then made the line art. I created a scale pattern and replicated it to follow the curves of the dragon. Then I added some hair texture. I created a layer under the line art to fill in the color of the dragon. I added a gradient to both the line art and filled color. Next I created a sketch of the clouds and added line art to it. I added a gradient to the clouds so that they looked layered on each other.
