Protecting Ossian's Hall

Protecting Ossian's Hall is a watercolour painting made in Procreate using my custom watercolour brushes. A knight defends Ossian's Hall from a dragon. In front you see the Black Linn falls of the Braan, a tributary of the river Tay.

Ossian's Hall of Mirrors
The scene is set in Dunkeld Scotland. Ossian's Hall of Mirrors was built in 1757 as shrine to the blind bard Ossian. Ossian is supposed to have lived and written his heroic verse around the 3rd century.

Technique
I first painted this image in black and white and on several layers so I could use it for animation. Then I coloured on a layer on top. This painting is available on Redbubble.
