Ols is a Polish word for wetland forest with the dominance of alder trees in an area with periodically high levels of stagnant water — basically a swamp. And this ols, that caught my attention, looked very textbook-like, or at least as I would have imagined one: trees on characteristic clumps, moss-covered trunks, and a smooth surface of marsh water around.
