This was a university brief. I was asked to come up with a response to the film ‘The Battle of Algiers’ by Gillo Pontecorvo it documents a reconstruction of the armed Algerian struggle for independence in 1954 using guerrilla tactics. Through extensive research into guerrilla warfare, it became an obvious choice for the research content to become the content of the book. I was free to choose the size, binding and stock the final book was put into a hardback cover with a concealed steel throwing knife held in place with magnetic paper. The publication was accompanied by an A5 type specimen.
