A project for my design class. The assignment was too create a poster design thanking the staff in my district for all of their hard work.
My Process
The given theme for this design was being an innovator. I thought a lightbulb would be great for this since it is a symbol for ideas, thinking, and creative solutions. I wanted to use my district's colors, blue and green, but I also wanted to make it pop more from normal posters that bare the district colors. This is what lead me to chose yellow for the background and red for the fonts. I thought it created a really nice contrast.
