Heriberto & Demetrio was an animated 3D film produced in Mexico. The story took place in Mexico City, where two common policemen accidentally get involved in a secret mission. Part of the voice cast of the film included world famous actor Joaquin Cosío and Armando Hernández (Canned project 2013-2017). 

I was part of the Story Department of the film's production, so my job was to make the storyboard based on the script. Many boards were made for this film, but i picked a few to share.

In this scene our main characters (as children) are playing in the apartment building communal yard. When they return to Demetrio's apartment, his grandmother is watching a news broadcast telling the story of the capture of an archeological thief. The children get interested in the subject of the stolen item, so they ask grandma about it, so she  starts telling them an ancient legend about the statues of the Eagle and Jaguar warriors... 

Agent Guadalupe Reyes takes Heriberto & Demetrio to her secret room. At first this place looks like a normal service room, but with a simple "Click", this place turns in to a high tech secret agent room. Our unexpected heroes think that its their death bed, but after a comical moment the agent explains to them the whereabouts of the mission...

After the presentation of the "Eagle Warrior" golden statue, the show starts to take another turn, some of the acrobats gather around the ancient relic in a mysterious way. A big helicopter appear over the center stage. The audiences think that this is part of the show, but agent Guadalupe Reyes instantly realizes that the piece is being stolen. Heriberto and Demetrio back her up. Claudio reveals himself as the great mastermind behind this grand robbery...
