Character and Environment
For this class project I had to illustrate a character of my choosing with an environment. I decided to choose Him from the PowerPuff Girls because I always enjoyed his character from the show. I am also drawn a lot to the color red, so I figured he would be an excellent choice to illustrate. I enjoyed the process of making this illustration from constructing the character to little details such as the meteor and the city of Townsville in the background. Overall it was a very pleasant and fun experience!

Pose Reference
*I wasn't sure if I found the correct person who owns this picture I used, so as a discretion I do not own this reference image nor do I claim ownership of it.*
Sketch Process
For the sketching process I first started by breaking down the reference image into basic shapes to construct the character. From there, in my second rough sketch I started to exaggerate the shapes.
I then cleaned up my second rough exaggerated sketch, and from there in Illustrator I was able to make the line work using various tools such as the pen tool and shape tools.
Here is the finished outcome of the colored character!
