We were required to create three triplex prototype of a footwear item of our choice. The project required three steps of submission. In step one we were briefed to submit a full shoe prototype. Step two it was a submission of a cross-section prototype. Step three it was a submission of mould prototype. The scale on the project is 1:1 and there were specific materials that we were briefed to use some of them are a Clear Bostik glue, steel ruler, Triplex board and many more. Paying attention to details on this project is very important.
We were required to make a full prototype footwear using Triplex board. The measurements of the of the original shoe has to be the same measurements of the prototype. Scale is very important at this point.
