Data Visualization has always been fascinating to me. These are conceptual renderings I casually investigated to better understand the value of exploring data in three dimensions, more specifically in Microsoft HoloLens and Virtual Reality experiences.
I believe that not just purely for its aesthetics, but also for its understanding, that there is something compelling about the idea of using z-depth in data visualization.
Given this was a created over a short time-frame, I left many stones unturned and questions unanswered, such as the specific use cases and how much depth can contribute to the misunderstanding of data and whether the benefits can out-weigh such downsides.
