I have been contributing colour forecasting and palettes for leading stock image provider Shutterstock for the past 5 years. Shutterstock’s colour forecasting is based heavily on search data and the colour choices used across websites, apps and social media. In my own forecasting, I look to search data, as well as trends in culture, graphic design, branding, fashion, interiors and product design, to inform the palettes.
