This field guide was redesigned for a friend and biologist who has spent decades of his life beachcombing in North Haven, a small town on the mid-north coast of New South Wales.
A culmination of his hundreds of hours of collecting, sorting, researching, photographing, writing and editing, the book was designed to inspire local beachcombers to go searching for the many different shell species that can be found on the shore of a single beach.
