"Meetings on the Poprad" is a series of films shot in 2020 in the south of Poland.
Each episode talks about the specificity of the recgion.

The Poprad River Valley is an amazing and undiscovered place. What makes that place unique is the specific microclimate, nature and folk traditions of the inhabitants who are called Black Highlanders.

The series of documentaries was created in cooperation with MGOK Piwniczna and the National Cultural Center.

Mariusz Oleksy is a mountain guide. His knowlage and flow allowed to tell about the geology,  fauna and flora of the Poprad River Valley.

Dorota and Grzesiek are travelers, bloggers and mountain lovers. They shared their vast knowledge and enthusiasm in the next episode of the series, where they talk about tourist attractions and mountain trails in Poprad River Valley.

"Meetings on the Poprad" appealed to the audience to such an extent that new episodes were created. "My Poprad" by Maria Lebdowiczowa is a poem with the same title, read by the author and illustrated with shots of Poprad river and archival recording of a folk tale about Vodyanoy!

The cooperation with Mariusz during the creation of "Spotkania nad Popradem" was so good that we decided to make another episode in this convention but telling about the Beskid routes.
