For this illustration assignment, we were asked to design a set of podcast covers for a podcast that highlights diversity. The diversity podcast name and episode titles was decided within a group of classmates and we all designed it differently. The name of our podcast was Inclusion Fusion and I chose to use a lava lamp as my brand identity. The idea of the lava lamp came from the concept of having everything fuse and form together, lumps living in harmony.
The first image is the cover of the podcast. We thought of episode names that would highlight cultural foods, music, and festivities. We decided on the names Eat Up, Jam Out, and Let's Party. I used a groovy color palette and formed the lumps to fit each item and manipulated the type to flow perfectly in the lava.
