I chose to draw the species of the Betta fish or the Siamese Fighting fish for I have always been fascinated by their beauty. The wide variety of their colors matched with their long fins looked magical whenever they swim here and there. How they showcase themselves gracefully and elegantly is what keeps me in awe of their existence. 

 

Marine life--although Betta fishes thrive in freshwater--never failed to mesmerize me with their uniqueness and how each and every species balance everything out in our waters and the whole world as well. 

 

We must always remember that even if these animals, particularly fishes like the Betta fish, give us joy and happiness and would make us want to keep them, let us refrain ourselves and let them be. Let them enjoy in their own habitat. Pet stores cause stress and even death to salt/freshwater species especially crowded tanks together with other species of different kinds. 

 

Wouldn't it be nice to see them enjoy in their own home?
