I developed a set of patterns whilst ideating a logo for the flower shop, Rose and Bud. I had country home décor and quilting in my mind because of all the geometric floral patterns that can be found in that aesthetic. I wanted this homey, southern country style to translate into the logo and patterns for the brand. 

After creating the patterns, the floral design that caught my eye the most was then simplified more to make the logo. With such geometric design, I wanted the font to be thin and san serif to bring more space to the logo and let it breath. I also made the slogan, "live, laugh, enjoy the roses" because of all the live, laugh, love posters I see in homestead, county décor.
