Life Of Pi: Film Poster and Ticket Design

Illustrative film poster and hypothetical premier ticket design for Ang Lee's Golden Globe winning, critically acclaimed film "Life Of Pi",released in 2012, based on the 2001 Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name by Canadian novelist Yann Martel.

The story of the film, and the book revolve around an Indian man named "Pi" Patel,
who is telling a novelist the story of his life, and how at 16 he survives
a shipwreck and is left adrift in the Pacific Ocean on a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger.
The concept illustration was based on a particular section of the film that depicted Pi afloat on the ocean in a little raft in the middle of the night, and then suddenly encounters a giant luminescent blue whale, which breaches the ocean waters and soars into the sky. While the film depicts a long shot of the entire sequence, I wanted to show the scene from the perspective of Pi himself.

For reference, below is the scene from the film. For best results, view at or above 720p.
The illustrated poster
I also designed a ticket for the film as well, but it is not necessarily meant for commercial usage, rather it is meant to be for premier parties or for film festivals and the like.
The concept for the ticket was the same as the poster.
A representation of how the poster would look in a commercial real-life space.
Thank You.
