Mandala Playing Cards
This deck of playing cards is inspired by ancient spiritual symbols. The main icon used is the mandala, which is a symbolic diagram that represents the universe and interconnectedness of all living things. The mandala is an object of meditation that aids one in their spiritual journey. Harmony, eternal knot, triskele, and om symbols are used to replace the suits—hearts, spades, clubs, and diamonds—in a traditional card deck. Each card displays the symbol with its name underneath. The box displays the mandala on the front, the symbols on the bottom, and the name of the deck across the side. This project was created using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign, and mocked up in Adobe Photoshop by myself.
