For this project, the intention was to create a book that informed and sold the font of our choice. I drew a particular liking to the font Avenir and designed my book with the creator, Adrian Frutiger’s ideas of futurism and minimalism in mind. As Frutiger states, “empty spaces are the most important aspect of a typeface” so I designed my book paying close attention to using white spaces with additions of minimalistic design aspects and a simple color scheme of red, blue, white and black.
