Wireframes and Style Tile: Home Living

These are wireframes for the fictional business that I created called, "Home Living." The wireframes are supposed to be simply outlines of what the website for the company will look like. They include a call to action, hero image, a nav bar, the company logo, and body copy. I did research on different soap making companies and saw what they had within their nav bars and decided to base mine on their's. I also looked at how their website was set up and what they included in their home page in order to inform myself on what kind of information to include. These are just two of the wireframes that I created in Adobe XD.
This is the style tile that I created for Home Living that captures the essence of the brand which includes key descriptive words of the brand, the color palette, headings 1,2, and 3 which establish hierarchy within the web design. I also included an example photo of the type of photography I would use on the website and within this brand in general. There is also a call to action button that reads "REGISTER FOR A CLASS TODAY" because Home Living provides soap making classes that the customers need to register to do. I also included the brand logo and a nav bar with the social media links in the corner.
This is a close up of the texture that I decided to use. I wanted to include texture within the style tile in order to give it some characteristics and give the design some more depth. I decided on this texture because it looks like a creamy lotion has been spread onto something, similar to the lotions that Home Living sells in their store. The texture is present here on the call to action button, but also on the nav bar and bottom border.
