OVERKILL – the name gives it all away: More is indeed more!
Using only two colours (not including the paper as well as both colours multiplied) the concept of overkill is to overload. Inspired by the old-fashioned punk-fanzines from the 80ies and the xerographic production I had a lot of fun experimenting with different fonts, ripping paper and creating a certain collage-look in order to achieve an authentic and interesting combination of conscious design as well as artistic randomness.
Inside the fanzine there is another surprise hidden:
A small "behind-the-lyrics"-booklet with Tool's
most famous songs and their explanation.
