To make the new banner for my social media websites, I combined two of my previous illustrations. One of them is the pen with my logo on it, and the other is an unfinished illustration (based on myself and my love of art supplies).
Once combined, I liked the idea of the pen creating the illustration.
I wanted to add more color to the banner, so I colored in half the illustration, allowing some of the line art to still be seen (almost like a before and after).
