INTO THE FIRE
This project portrays the daily life of the heroes who give their lives to fighting fires in a country that is attacked every year by major fires, mainly forest fires.
In this particular case it was a tire production plant in the north of Portugal, by the time i took these photos, the fire had been active for more than 50 hours.
Some of these men and women had not yet rested...
DENTRO DE FOGO (PT)
Este projeto retrata o dia-a-dia dos heróis que dão as suas vidas ao combate de incêndios num país que é atacado todos os anos por grandes incêndios, principalmente incêndios florestais.
Neste caso em particular é uma fábrica de produção de pneus no norte de Portugal, na altura em que capturei estas fotos o incêndio já estava ativo a mais de 50 horas.
Alguns destes homens e mulheres não tiveram a possibilidade de descansar...
