In this project, my team and I designed and built a full scale pier. In this design, I wanted the observer to have the sensation of height when looking out onto the horizon. To enhance this, I designed the foot rest which slightly leans forward over the edge at a sharp vertex. To complement this forward motion, I designed an angular fabric tent to shade the observer when below deck.
