Research with a group of nine year olds and their ideal toy and top three items they want from Santa Claus. We discovered that everyone wanted an iPad and they all loved to draw. Why not combine the two in a suitable format for children? 

Finished sketch of  the product to be created. 

Rhino model of the casing that would be 3D printed in ABS plastic. 

Ripping apart an old computer and attaching a touchscreen to the circuit board for a working prototype. 

Getting the program to work in Processing wasn't always the easiest...

But when the prototype was finished and the pitch was made to the panel of judges, we were pretty happy with the result. 

And people really liked it....
