Brief:

Redesign a (full color) magazine including the logotype. Student will recreate a cohesive set of pages, including Cover, Contents Page and a Feature Article with a minimum of 3 spreads.

 

I chose Q Magazine, UK's premiere music magazine. Although it has great content, the logo is a little outdated and the layouts are usually cluttered with type, images and graphic elements. My goal was to create a new, polished look for the magazine, focusing extensively on the music that is being featured on the issue. I chose the English singer/songwriter Kate Nash as the featured artist.

 

I don't own any of the photographs.
