Blue is a project about isolated feminine energy. 

Energy leads to movement, which I wanted to capture through dance. My subject, Liptak Zsofia, is a dancer at the Hungarian National Dance Academy. I wanted to capture her inner energy which she utilises to control and move her body in her dancing. To capture her subjective experience, I aimed to let the camera dance with her - I tried to get as close as I could to her subjective perspective and convey her inner power and mood which fluctuates and changes from the forces of inner and outer energy acting upon her. 

It was important for me to convey that femininity can mean strength and power just as much as softness and beauty. This photo series aims to highlight this multi-sided energy that has the power to fuel, crush and empower us.
