For this project the goal was to take an everyday video and turn it into a 20 frame GIF and  loop the animation.

This is the video that I chose.

Using this video, it was imported into photoshop.  Then I trimmed the video down to the best 20 frames that I wanted to use.  I then isolated and masked the area of the final frame to reveal movement in a small portion of the video.  The I looped the animation.  After saving the file, I then exported the file as a GIF, and ensured the settings were optimized to 800 kb or less.
