Recently, the British imaging company Kode and OPPO collaborated on a fantasy epic film.

With the support of British CG studio Kode Red and directed by Nick Bartleet, the film expands and promotes OPPO's latest product-OPPO Reno5 Marvel limited edition mobile phone
In just 60 seconds, join a fantasy escape journey through the "Battle of New York" scene, the starting point of the Avengers.

Project Description
Jack Goodwin, executive producer of Kode: The creative script for this project comes from OPPO's internal creativity. In the original story setting, we all like this grand game scene with the American screen very much. This kind of project is very easy, because we cannot directly use the characters and scenes of the movie under copyright preparations with Disney, so the production process is often full of challenges. We chose many alternative scenes based on the war in New York, and at the same time re-converted through art , Let this world become a brand-new story origin.

Director Nick Bartleet: For me, Marvel is probably what the kid in my heart wants to be. They are not pure superheroes, they are all mortals from a certain angle. Will base his hobbies on the interests of others; Thor is easily impulsive, which causes him to lose a lot, but this is why I like them, they let me know that superheroes also have an imperfect side, ordinary People can also be superheroes.
Challenge project challenge
Jack Goodwin: How to balance concept creativity and production progress is definitely a big challenge. All content, whether visual or technical, is made from scratch. All departments must cooperate well from start to finish. In the end, we did not compromise on quality or sacrifice in creativity, and successfully completed a film. I am very proud of the result.
Nick Bartleet: The initial challenge is how to design characters and plots. The Disney contract stipulates that real movie characters and scenes cannot be used in this collaboration. At the same time, the entire production is only six weeks from the beginning to the line. We need to design, model and animate the visual On the shocking and impressive Marvel world at the same time.
Jack Goodwin (Jack Goodwin): We have to find the best balance between modeling and asset creation at the scene level, and at the same time carry out 3D production and delivery on time. We use post-compositing methods to borrow from many places in the UK. Transformed from synthesis into the visual sense of New York.
collaboration
Jack Goodwin: The OPPO creative team is an ideal partner, Asa / Jason / Rachel. They are all very professional, experienced and passionate about visual arts. This cooperation is really enjoyable, just like meeting a new friend. All of your ideas hit it off again. This kind of connection inspires inspiration and builds trust. I think this is the key to the complete success of this production.
