Learning My Camera

In the presentation feedback (3rd Feb) Chris offered to help me understand the best settings to use when filming with my Olympus because I hadn't really done it before.

We had a zoom meeting where he went over the best ways to shoot and the options I had in terms of shutter speed, frame rate etc.

He suggested that I should do some tests using both the 4K settings and the FHD setting on my camera. I used a spinning top as my test subject because it tested how well the motion would be caught and told me a lot about how motion blur would affect the shot.

As 4K files are a lot bigger than FHD my laptop kind of struggled when it came to trying to edit them so I decided that I would use FHD instead. The quality is pretty much just as good and my laptop wasn't struggling when it came to the editing process.
