Hate and vengeance gave birth to the Demonic Serpent, that unleashed it's venom upon the doors of Valhalla. Warriors that came to defend the gates were prey to the ever-spreading poison, and their bodies melted into mere bones. But the venom never managed to make its way into the Citadel of the Gods- because the Angel stood between them. Unafraid, unflinching and as mighty as the Old Gods themselves; he swore to never wield a weapon. And thus, as the Serpent rampaged through the gates and slithered forth to attack, the Angel grabbed it by neck and tail. With unshaken calmness, he locked the Serpent till it could not even breathe air. By the mighty hands of the Angel, the Serpent's venomous life choked out of existence- thus returning Valhalla to peace once again.
Deciding on the look and feel of the angel and the snake. Initial thoughts were to make his hands glow and perhaps have some symbols on them. But we chucked that thought.
And boy did this take time. Figured that inking celestial armor isn't so easy, especially if you're planning to impress. But again, there's a long way to go- and go we shall.
