The project for “This is life” is a story that speaks about an Antʼs life in his perspective discussing his lifestyle, struggles, what makes him happy and the meaning to life and what is of it afterwards. The Photo narrative depicts a vision or a possible way of seeing from an antʼs perspective, from the abstract lines going through page to page to the black and white compositions. The type system includes the type family Thesis that also includes the three faces The Sans, The Mix, and The Serif. The type system uses line to create a visual pathway feel to how the type is set and its relationship to and antʼs way of travel. Antʼs are on the constant move and the paths that they take are almost forgotten. Line work such as cross-outs through type, underlining, type with manipulated ascenders and descenders and the thin red line work that creates texture within the type.
