The year is 1977. A remorseless serial-killer is stalking Bay City. The reason for the murders is unknown, but the dismembered victims are always young and beautiful. In order to find the perpetrator, Detective Markus of the police has to set aside the troubles with his family and pull the evidence together before pani ic sweeps the city. His only ally is a reporter, Karen Dekker, who has a grim past of her own and a chance to break the biggest story of her career.
