täysikuu. KUUN: Luminaire Collection

Luminary project in conjunction with La Veta brand: Stone & Crafted Interiors in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
La Veta seeks to refresh its image and sale of personalized design by making a sub-brand of luxury design focused on lighting (collection of lamps); as part of the project is working with the principles, industrial processes and materials themselves (marble, stone, terrazzo, or mineral), therefore the main concept was based on the Moon, its nature and simple beauty. KUUN ("lunar" in Finnish) is the identity that was formed from the concept and evolved until it ended with the logo, isotype and imagotype shown.
Storyboard: The general idea was that the luminaires could be used in places of coexistence (general lighting) areas of rest or relaxation, it was possible to interact with them and modify in a certain way the type of lighting that they projected and finally that they came into harmony with the space where they lived together.
täysikuu.
täysikuu (Finnish "full moon") Desk lamp for reading.
The full moon is represented in täysikuu by the white quarry base and tells us how beautiful the moon is in its total splendor. This phenomenon is not very often observed but when it occurs it leaves us blinded by the flashing light, looking like an eye that watches us.

Made of quarry, iron and electro painted aluminum, it gives us the freedom to move the light through its arm to improve its reach and disposition.
Setting. Space exploration.

The project is intended for an exhibition production of the Milan International Design Fair, so they should be simple and eye-catching packaging methods, in addition to helping the seller to display the product more easily. The boxes are designed to carry the luminaire, display it and highlight the name of the piece.
